After months of studying, writing papers, and cramming for stressful exams, summer break offers students a few months of relaxation and fun. What better way to relax and escape the summer heat than by seeing a movie in the theaters? Some of the major blockbusters for the year have already hit the theaters, but the lineup for the rest of the summer shows promise. Heres our Top 5 picks to check out before classes start.

1. Toy Story 3: The toys are back! And the Class of 2014 has something in common with toy owner Andy as he heads off to college and must leave his lovable toys behind. Adventure ensues when the iconic toys are donated to a day care without Andys knowledge and go on a journey to reunite with him once again. Release Date: June 18

2. Knight and Day: Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz team up in this action-comedy about a covert agent sent on a mission he was never supposed to complete and a Midwestern girl caught in the middle. Release Date: June 25

3. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: This vampire movie is a guaranteed hit with its solid fan base, dramatic action sequences, and the love triangle between a human, werewolf, and vampire. Bella will have to struggle with the decision to become immortal and join Edward in the vampire world or to stay human. Release Date: June 30

4. Inception: This big budget film is filled with elaborate scenes and special effects that will leave you wowed. The trailers alone show just a glimpse of the potential this movie has. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as the leader of a special team trained to create the world of the dream and use it to hack into peoples minds and steal their secrets. Release Date: July 16

5. Salt: Angelina Jolie stars as Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy. Salt must spend the rest of the movie trying to clear her name and stay ahead of the game, but is she really who she says she is? Release Date: July 23
