Crime: Assault follow up

No solid leads toward an arrest regarding the assault that occured last week at this time.

As we all know, around 11:30pm on Friday, Sept. 10, an assault on a CNU student occurred in the parking lot of the Ferguson Center.

According to CNUPD, the assailant, for unknown reasons, punched the victim catching him off guard. Motivation for the assault is still to be determined as the assailant has yet to be caught. The case remains active with “no promising leads,” according to Chief Brown.

The victim was unable to identify the attacker giving light to all CNU students to be on guard while trekking through campus at night.
