Crime Report 10/6

Crime was low this week for the CNU campus.  A cell phone was taken from the Village, on Wednesday 29 Sept.
Commonwealth Hall (the motel-looking building on the right of Sweetbriar) was the site of a trespassing and drunkenness charge on Wednesday as well.

Chief Jeffery Brown commented on the incident saying “we had had trouble with a homeless man loitering during the summer, and he showed up again while intoxicated, so we asked him not to come back and made the arrest.”

More student property was stolen on Thursday, Sept 30, in the Freeman Center athletic locker room from an unsecured locker.  The door to the locker room was locked, but the individual locker was unsecured, which is how the property was stolen.

Police Chief Brown says, “there are still no new leads,” in regards to the robbery that occurred in Student Advancement last week, but it is still an ongoing investigation.
