Crime Log, February 7, 2011

Numerous misdemeanor crimes occurred on the Christopher Newport University campus during the week of January 31st February 7th.The first one happening on January 31 when paintings were allegedly stolen out of McMurran Hall, another reported account of larceny occurred on February 3rd when a unsecured bike was stolen at The Commons. On the same day, students were charged with possession of alcohol and damage to state property in Potomac River Hall.

Another incident that took place on February 3rd was intimidation on campus; a student was receiving harassing emails and texts.

On the 4th of February false identification took place in Santoro as well as possession of paraphernalia.

Report of an alcohol violation and disorderly took place on February 5th at University North. Two incidents of vandalism occurred on the 6th. One at Washington Apartments and the other at Jefferson Apartments, both were damages to vehicle.

Finally on February 6th disorderly conduct occurred in Lot A due to reckless driving and endangerment.
