Located just outside historic Williamsburg and Yorktown, Virginia, Christopher Newport University is a close-knit community of approximately 5,000 students, faculty, and staff. Based on its philosophy of "students first," CNU prides itself on providing an excellent education, a great value, and an exceptional experience. First published in 1963, The Captain's Log has acted as a voice for the student body and a forum for student expression ever since. Growing continuously, The Captain's Log receives contributions from dozens of students on campus every semester. Each semester we print approximately 11 issues, totalling more than 23,000 copies.
